Hello and happy almost Friday! I got back from celebrating my sister’s Master’s graduation in SF late on Sunday (more on that later), went straight back to work on Monday, and then went to my BFs Master’s graduation yesterday (where I got majorly sunburned so let me just remind you to always lather on the sunscreen)! It’s been a busy week, but I’m happy to finally have a chance to sit down and share a recent look with you. I like this outfit because it’s great for transitioning from spring to summer, while the weather is still figuring out what it wants to do. This SAYLOR top is cotton so it will keep you cool when the days are hot but you could also throw a denim jacket (like this one that’s under $35) over it for chillier nights. It also looks good with shorts (like these) or long jeans, like these ones by Paige Denim. I love the soft pink/purple color of these. Unlike a regular old pair of blue jeans, these keep you looking fresh for spring. A good pair of white jeans would also look great with the top and is perfect for spring and summer.
Let’s just talk about this top again for a second though. I love all the detailing on it, from the multi-colored embroidery and braided straps to the beading. And again, it’s a super light weight cotton so it will be cool and comfortable all summer long!
I’m also totally in love with these Converse. The vibrant purple is a fun change from the old black or white ones that I usually reach for. Plus they add a little pop of color to any outfit.
What are your favorite spring to summer transition pieces? Let me know in the comments!
