It’s been an usually long and cold winter for Southern California standards. And by cold I mean highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. I know that sounds ridiculous for anyone who lives somewhere with a real winter, but when you’re used to year-round 80 degree weather, 60 degrees seems downright frigid. We’ve also had an unusually rainy winter, which I’m not complaining about because we desperately needed it. But I’ve missed warm, sunny days! That’s why when we had a sunny, 70+ degree weekend I jumped at the opportunity to head straight to the beach. I could have easily stayed home in my PJs doing a whole lot of nothing as per my usual weekend ritual. But I’m so glad I didn’t because there’s really nothing better than sand on your buns and sunshine on your face. So my PSA is to never waste a sunny day because who knows when the next one might be?!
