 It's Friday and I'm a happy camper! Sometimes I really enjoy getting dressed up but there's really nothing I love more than a good pair of jeans and a tee shirt, especially on the weekend. I found this "happy camper" tee by Sub_Urban Riot at Buffalo Exchange, but it's still available here. Also, I kinda like this other tee by Sub_Urban Riot because the universe is shady. I'm wearing my go-to pair of jeans by Flying Monkey. These are my favorite jeans because the fit is great, they have a little bit of stretch so they're comfortable, the quality is good, and they're American made. Arizona Roadtrip

Hi friends! I went on a super fun little road trip to Phoenix, Arizona over the weekend and wanted to share all the juicy details with you (JK the details aren't juicy). But first let me just apologize in advance for the not so great photos. All of these were taken on the iPhone 5s that I'm still sporting but it was all I had to work with for this trip! The drive from Long Beach to Phoenix is about 5 1/2 to 6 hours, so we made sure to load up on road trip snacks before getting in the car. San Diego Botanic Garden

Hi! I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend. I had a pretty mellow weekend but did go on a little day trip to the San Diego area to visit my dad. We took a trip to the San Diego Botanic Garden because I had never been but has always been curious. It was a lot bigger than I had expected! We spent a good couple of hours walking around exploring the place (and still missed a few of the gardens I think) and we were both pretty tired by the end of it. There are various gardens based on region or plant type, some of my favorites being the bamboo garden and the tropical rain forest. Stripes and Cutoffs

If you can't already tell from this post, this post, and this post, I'm a fan of stripes! Stripes are just so classic and versatile, especially in neutral color combos like on this Maje sweater (currently on sale at Bloomingdale's). You can never go wrong with black and white! I especially love the mini bell sleeves on this sweater and the pop of color along the bottom. It's a pretty thick material, so when summer rolls around this bad boy will have to be kept in the closet, but other than that it can pretty much be worn year round. Boho Blooms

Hello and happy almost Friday! I got back from celebrating my sister's Master's graduation in SF late on Sunday (more on that later), went straight back to work on Monday, and then went to my BFs Master's graduation yesterday (where I got majorly sunburned so let me just remind you to always lather on the sunscreen)! It's been a busy week, but I'm happy to finally have a chance to sit down and share a recent look with you.
