Solo Trip to Quebec City

I recently took my very first solo trip, something that seemed a little scary but ended up being just wonderful. The destination: Quebec City. I had been wanting to go to Quebec City ever since randomly stumbling upon Pinterest pictures of what looked like a truly magical city. One day, while playing around on one of my favorite travel sites, Fareness, I found a super cheap flight to QC. I had kind of been wanting to take a solo trip and thought it might be the perfect time to bite the bullet and just book the trip, so that’s exactly what I did. As the trip got closer, I started to get a little nervous and even felt a little bit of dread. Would I be bored or lonely in a new city by myself? Would I get lost or feel unsafe? I’m happy to report that I didn’t feel any of those things and instead had a wonderful time with just me for company. And what’s even more great is knowing that I can totally conquer the world on my own now. #girlpower

Quebec City truly is a magical city, with so much cuteness around every corner, friendly people, and beautiful sites. It’s a great city to simply wander in and maybe get a little lost. Fall was the perfect time to visit because there was beautiful fall foliage and festive decor everywhere you turned. Fall in Quebec is a little chilly, but less crowded and more affordable. I wish I could remember the name of this shop. They had the most beautiful lights hanging all around the store.
